Manganese

The mineral salts of manganese have many different functions in the body. The body cannot produce manganese itself. For this reason, the intake of manganese through food, food supplements or medicines is of essential importance. The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends a manganese intake of 2 to 5 mg per day for adolescents and adults1.

Manganese contributes towards the preservation of healthy bones, a normal formation of connective tissue and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Manganese can be administered in the form of tablets, effervescent tablets, drinking granules, direct granules, powders, capsules, coated tablets and injection solutions.

Our products are in conformity with the standard pharmacopeias (EP, USP, DAB, DAC) and/or the conditions imposed by food law (E number, FCC) and are available in different grades, particle size distributions and bulk weights.
