Potassium
The mineral salts of potassium have many different functions in the body. The body cannot produce potassium itself. For this reason, the intake of potassium through food, food supplements or medicines is of essential importance. The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends a potassium intake of 2,000 mg per day for adolescents and adults1.
Potassium contributes to a normal function of the nervous system, to a normal muscle function and to the maintenance of a normal blood pressure.
Potassium can be administered in the form of tablets, effervescent tablets, drinking granules, direct granules, powders, capsules, coated tablets and injection solutions.
Our products are in conformity with the standard pharmacopeias (EP, USP, DAB, DAC) and/or the conditions imposed by food law (E number, FCC) and are available in different grades, particle size distributions and bulk weights.
