Thorough and independent analysis

Our filter aids (diatomaceous earth and perlite grades) undergo regular analysis for residues. Depending on the requirement, we conduct these tests in our own laboratory or arrange for an accredited laboratory to carry out the analysis. According to the contractual arrangements, compliance with agreed product specifications may be subject to regular external inspection by an independent specialist laboratory.

Typical analyses in our own laboratory:

• Permeability
• Particle size distribution
• Wet density  

External analyses:

• Proportion of soluble metals, such as arsenic, iron and aluminium
• Soluble contents are investigated in accordance with MEBAK analysis methods or EBC
