Management change at Business Unit Magnesia: Dr. Alexander Sunder takes over as new BU Manager from Jürgen Mannshardt as of January, 1st 2022!

At the turn of the year Mr. Jürgen Mannshardt retires from his active leadership and changes into a consulting role. He is succeeded in his role as BU Magnesia by Dr. Alexander Sunder as of January 1st, 2022.

After 40 years of active service in the magnesia business at Lehmann&Voss&Co  - with 13 years of BU leadership - Mr. Mannshardt starts his retirement. However, he will remain closely linked to business and will actively support the organisation with his long-standing expertise in a consulting role.

Mr. Sunder has joined Lehmann&Voss&Co. in 2014 and has headed its BU Customized Polymer Materials (CPM) before. In the course of his career he held various management positions in the chemical and plastics industry and its related trading & distribution businesses.

The LEHVOSS Group combines under its BU Magnesia the global activities in the field of Industrial Minerals. This activity covers its main brands LUVOMAG® for synthetic and natural magnesium compounds and LUVOZIRC® for zirconium compounds. The section Life Science Minerals & Excipients covers the brand PHRAMAGNESIA® for minerals in the nutrition & food industry as well as a broad distribution portfolio of pharmaceutical excipients.
