Binders – the basis for varnishes and paints
Binders are indispensable as the basis for producing coatings, printing inks and adhesives. They combine pigments, additives and other constituents to produce a homogeneous system and form a continuous film after drying. Binding agents are also responsible for the adhesion of the coating to the substrate.
The selection of binding agent has a decisive influence on the properties of the finished product and its processing. Application technology experiments conducted in our own laboratory have provided us with knowledge of how our binding agents interact with other constituents of the formulation. This is why we are able to support you in selecting the raw materials and developing the formulation.
