To support our Laboratory Services department, we are looking for a working student (m/f/d) in the testing laboratory / rheology, starting October 1, 2026, for a fixed-term position initially lasting 6 months, working approximately 15–20 hours per week.
 

Your tasks

  • Conducting tests using the high-pressure capillary rheometer (HKR) and the pVT measuring device
  • Independently preparing and conducting measurement series (including sample preparation, drying, instrument calibration, and cleaning)
  • Evaluation and plausibility checking of raw data from HKR and pVT measurements
  • Documentation of measurement results and creation of structured data sets
  • Assistance with the characterization of thermoplastic compounds
  • Collaboration on the optimization of measurement methods and procedures

 

Your competencies

  • Currently pursuing a degree in plastics engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of rheology and materials testing
  • Some practical laboratory experience (e.g., through internships) is desirable
  • A structured, meticulous, and independent work style
  • A strong aptitude for data analysis and technical concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills
